Hidden Wonders of the Black Sea

We begin our adventure in Trabzon, a port city that has been home to many civilisations over the years and is just a short flight from Istanbul. After a quick meet and greet with our guide we hit the road and make our way to Sumela, a monastery perched on a steep rock cliff overlooking Altindere Valley. Ho Chi Minh City can be a place that polarises people. I for one love Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as its more commonly known particularly with the locals. A common mistake that people make with Saigon is they try and compare it to other more developed Asian cities such as Singapore or Kuala Lumper rather than just take it at face value. Myanmar

Myanmar is the sleeping giant of South East Asia and we were fortunate enough to visit there earlier this year.

Formally known as Burma, Myanmar has only recently opened its borders to tourists, but there are still parts in the north that you should avoid due to ongoing unrest.

Our Myanmar journey began in Yangon, which is the former capital city and is the largest city in Myanmar with over 7 million people calling it home. Yangon was replaced as the capital back in 2006 by Naypyidaw, which was the decision of the then military government to relocate the capital to this purpose-built city.
